SAFEGUARDING POLICY

Purpose

Somatic Leadership Co. is committed to providing a safe, respectful and trauma-informed environment for all clients, participants and attendees.

As a trauma-informed coach and educator, Gabriela Felicia Zubair recognises the importance of safeguarding vulnerable adults and children and will take appropriate action where concerns arise.

Scope

This policy applies to:

• Individual coaching clients
• Workshop participants
• Group programme attendees
• School, community and organisational workshops

Confidentiality and Safeguarding

Information shared during coaching sessions is confidential except where:

• There is a risk of serious harm to the client
• There is a risk of serious harm to another person
• A child is believed to be at risk of harm or neglect
• A vulnerable adult is believed to be at risk of harm or abuse
• Disclosure is required by law

Where appropriate and safe to do so, concerns will be discussed with the client before any safeguarding action is taken.

Emergency Situations

Somatic Leadership Co. does not provide crisis intervention, emergency mental health support, or medical services.

Record Keeping

Safeguarding concerns will be documented securely and retained in accordance with UK GDPR requirements.
